How to deal with your Inner Critic?

Chase Austin

I'm not going to lie.

I deal with my inner critic every day.

It comes in waves.

Sometimes it comes to me many time in a day and at other times once a week.

For new writers or creators who are still exploring their voice.

Or showing up and sharing their personal side.

It's powerful to be authentic.

This is also the best way to beat that imposter syndrome.

Be yourself.

Yup, it’s that easy.

Instead of giving a fuck about what others think of you.

You care about walking in the light of your own truth.

Your personal values helps maintain the balance between ego and authenticity.

My relationship with my Ego

I can say that I have a healthy relationship with my ego.

I joke around with it, I recognize when I get defensive or get protective of an idea.

Being yourself will attract the best type of "people" and have them on your corner.

When you show people your true self.

It's why I write stories.

It's why I posts on my Facebook group.

It's why I run Clubhouse rooms.

It's why I have communities.

It help establish and reinforce my voice and my brand through authenticity.

The same can be applied for you.

There is truly nobody else like you.

So use it like it’s your superpower.

It's cool to be authentic.
